Dutch
citizen Prof. Neggie De Jager De Van Unen exhibits her paintings via her
new website.
Prof. Neggie lives between
Mexico, Europe and Bali and has travelled extensively in the Americas.
She
was born and educated in the Netherlands, holds a bachelor of fine
arts degree from Artibus College of Utrecht, has taught painting and
stained glass and has exhibited widely in Europe and USA.
Her
work is included in many corporate and private collections and was
awarded a silver medallion in 1988 by the Tate Gallery, USA and
received the prestigious 'Cascador' in Austria 1997.
From
an early age, she wanted to be an artist, doing Classic Ballet,
modeling, Haute Couture, marketing and leading her sister's - famous
'Dutch Ballet Company' performing on Eurovision TV with Julio
Inglesias, Jerome Jackson, Julian Cler, etc.- And for the Record,
she is a F.I.G. sport aerobics judge participating, as international
judge, at the European and World Championships 2002.
Corporate
clients with Neggie's art work in their collections include Philips,
Bayer USA, M.D.P.C Hospital, Seven Mountains Int. and got
commissions
from Vulcan Sm. & R. Inc., KLM and Siemens Mexico.
She
is also represented in numerous private collections.
The
main focal point in her work is contrast in form, color, space
content, and reflect clear positive feelings, often capturing the
romantic side of her.
Neggie's
paintings are represented in the European Art Gallery in Ubud /Rebels

From October 2003 Neggie has an exhibition
in the Hypolandes Bank (Casino Building), Kleinwalsertal - Austria.
